Hello, great people!

My name is Elda, I am in my forties and I started this blog because I am an insatiable traveller. When I am not on the road I love writing about all the trips I take. Being a compulsive writer, if I do not rip out all the stories in my head, they drive me mad. Since a couple of years, I started to burgeon as a photographer, letting images be another incisive way to document the world. Hence comes my blog, which combines these three passions of mine and hopes to be an inspiration for your journeys, no matter how big or small.

I am based in Trieste. My interest for history and love for nature take me to lots of off the beaten path trips around this beautiful Italian area, which includes Friuli, Slovenia and extends to Austria and Croatia. Balancing my needs of exploring and ego with the basic needs of my family (I am a mother, which is an adventure of its own, and a wife) is the most difficult part. We writers always crave for solitude. But I manage. Books help and make the difference on the way.
